Nowadays, business environments are changing more rapidly than ever before—new technologies emerge every year, markets are becoming more globalized, and the needs of customers are ever diversified. These changes are demanding organizations to be more flexible to uncertainties and to new paradigms. Therefore, many organizations have adopted “work team” as a solution. Work team can be a good solution for this unprecedented era of innovations, because forming teams in various ways based on different situations helps organization better adapt to the changes. However, unfortunately, a team does not always lead to the best outcome. We figured out that although almost every organization seeks to establish effective teams, only some of them are said to be successful. We found it interesting and were also curious why some teams are so successful while the others are not. Therefore we have decided to work on this subject based on the “Team Effectiveness Model” in the text book.
However, in reality, it is almost impossible for a team to meet all of these successful factors at the same time. Even the most effective team should have one or two weak points.
