Shinil Kim (1971~), he is one of the exceptional media artists who succeed a pioneer of world-famous video artist Namjune Paik who is established. Korean media artist, he studied in M.F.A School of Visual Art and works drawing, sculpture, installation, and media. He treats tumultuous modern society issues, which are more advanced technology and has superfluous information through various medium in his works. He looks at some showy and eye-catching visual media in a new way, he tells a story and agonizes over recreated absence of reality through splendor. The viewer would be deeply moved and entirely understand his works when they appreciate those artworks with hearing and listening to this directly at that place because most of his works are sculptural installation art pieces. However, it would be expressed the media and sound of his works here as if you stayed that space.
Diverse artists turn out new artworks with combining to art while they advocate or criticize current digital times.
