Q. Refer to the article on page16. How much money do you need to be happy. Think about it. What's your number? Why do you need such money to be happy?
There is a short research that I watched in my English communication class. This is about the relationship between people's salary and happiness. People who earn a good living are often happier than people who live in poverty. Having extra money can certainly enhance our lives by providing extra food, objects and creature comforts in people's homes.
But the irony is that earning additional income will actually not lead to extra happiness, once people have already attained a “comfortable standard” where you have what people need to function and be content. The “comfortable standard” can be quite variable based on the city, state or country you live in. My thinking is same as these rearch.
