● Object

→ In this laboratory, we will study concept of wireless RF system. in detail, What are dBm , dB, dBc and these difference. and we will define means of S-parameter, Microstrip, noise figure, gain. so we will know widely basic concept of wireless RF system. also we will learn to use the most usefule tools, which are called ADS, HFSS so we will be improved our design skill of RF system.

1.What are dBm , dB, dBc ?

→ To know and distinguish dB, dBm and dBc , first we know fundamental definition of them.
first, dB means that Measurements, like a voltage or power, to the present value of the log scale. The reason for using the dB widely divide two. one reason is that Large numbers can be expressed briefly and because it is form of exponential, so its the product expression of real numbers can be expressed as the sum. it is very useful and simple when we usually calculate something. another reason is that signal contain frequncy don't proportion to measurement value ,like voltage or current, but it is proportional to dB scale.
