1) COMPANY BACKGROUND
Carrefour supermarket is a French international largest hypermarket chain in the world in terms of size, revenue and profit. The company is operated all over the world such as Europe, U.S, Brazil, china, Singapore, North Africa, etc (Carrefour Wikipedia, 2007).

(1) INTRODUCTION
① What is meant by external environment?
External environment is the factor that affects an organization externally such as suppliers, raw-materials, customers, competitors, government policies, taxation. Therefore, it is also help and support the organizations survive and perform well.
② How does it affect to the business environment?
There are many factors influences that affect the company’s business and the results of its operations, some of which are beyond the control of the company such as political, technological, economic, competitors, consumer behavior, labor market, social and cultural, and stakeholder.
