This assignment has done to answer the question of case study” Work- Life balance as a diversity strategy” which presents in different ways to different age groups occupying the workforce.
1) Question 1
Identify the issues that ANZ may faces in managing a workforce made up many different age groups. How would you try to address these concerns?
ANZ Banking Group, one of the Australia’s largest banks with a strong presence in Asia and Pacific. To provide opportunity for older works by guaranteeing over 55s the right to work, ANZ announced a new policy that confirmed its commitment. Firstly, the issue that ANZ apply is to offer existing ANZ staff the opportunity to explore a range of working options including part-time work and a move to less demanding position allowing for a better work-life balance.
The second issue that ANZ highlighted this strategy as a further sleep in developing an environment where staff highly engages and value for their work encourage achieving the right balance between work and home life.
