-Topic: House repairing
-Age: Teenager / Adult
-Length of lesson: 40~45
-Materials: pictures, white board, markers, work sheets
-Target Language Form
TL language: Causative
Example sentence: I had the roof fixed.
Form: S+ causative V + O + Action V (p.p)
Meaning: I arranged for the car to be fixed by someone,
we don’t know who, so this is like a passive.
Usage: It’s used when one thing or person causes another thing or person to do something.
Concept Qs: a. Did I fix the roof myself?
b. Did I tell someone else to do it for me?
c. What to be done for the car?
*Aims
-Engage: Ss compare between two pictures and describe what are changed.
-Study: SWBAT(Students will be able to) fill in the blanks and make the sentences with the TL.
-Activate: SWBAT correctly practice the TL usining “Board game”.
*Board work
Write the structure sentences of causative and example sentences.
e.g) verb example sentence
have We had our door fixed.
make The robber made the window broken.
