On August 31, 2009, Carson announced his retirement effective at year end. Named as the leader of BCA in September 2006.
Carson had responsibility for all of the company’s commercial airplanes programs and related services.

Boeing’s e-Enabled Advantage
1995, Boeing 777 was the first Airline to embed IT for flight controls and operations.
Boeing plane(777) had an installed local area network inside the aircraft.

Boeing executives believed that its “e-Enabled Advantage” would be the source of differentiation and leadership for decades to come.
