Executive Summary
Communication market is a little bit stagnated on its growth, but still it has many attractive factors on its growing. Even though its infrastructure inferiority at the beginning, LGT takes around twenty percentage of market share. But in the current status, LG telecom(refer to LGT) doesn`t seem to get rid of its third place because LGT does not overcome distrust of service quality, but also miss to enter 3G market. To gain the stainable profitability, we suggest that market repositioning with 2 points which are based on LGT’s core competency on service part. First, LGT should strongly focus on the customer value by developing life-close service, introducing integrational killer application and providing exclusive mobile web service. Additionally LGT has to be the No. 1 in 4G market by proactive investment on the infrastructure and might show synergic effects between corporations.
