This paper shows the basic principle of the law of tort. The contents of this paper provides tortuous liability, contractual liability, occupier’s liability, employer’s liability, elements of the tort of negligence, actual case of tort of negligence, and an imaginary case of tort of negligence.
The given scenario that the neighbor would like to learn the law of torts, therefore as a friend of him, this paper provides that he needs to be aware of common knowledge in law, in his life.
A tort is a remedy for civil wrong that based on the breach and negligence. The law of tort protects a person who has certain interests without any agreement. These interests might be protected by a court of judgment which can be money, damages or infringement of protected interest. On the other hand, the issue of injunction is a court order, to the defendant to refrain from doing something. There are more limited circumstances where the victim of a tort could help itself.
