본문내용

Nobody can deny that the world we live in is constructed of countless boundaries. Boundary is a complicated and also a multi-layered concept. Largely, there are two kinds of boundary. One is the exterior boundary and the other is the interior boundary. Exterior boundary is comparatively obvious. It’s physical and superficial. It includes visible things differentiated by the physical traits such as race, age and place. However, interior boundary is rather abstract and subtle. It is invisible and much related to one’s value system and identity matters. It also compasses social/cultural stereotypes we have in our mind. They are very different kind and even contradictory. However, the boundaries are not absolute. Especially in the modern world, we experience the blurry of the boundaries and the power game between two boundaries in our everyday life.
