2.Second career Program
Therefore we need more realistic and concrete policies for companies. Second Career Program is the one will be able to solve problem. This is the program make employees can prepare their life after retirement. Second Career will provide the opportunity to take professional consulting from inside and outside expert for the employees whose age reached between 35 and 40. This program would reduce the uncertainty of workers’ old life and establish definite object what they will do for company. At the same time, employees would believe in company and CEO as a life partner for their career.
Retirement system should be changed as an effective way to keep the talents. Employees have to be able to choose their resign age. When companies need to downsize their manpower structure, it is reasonable to support volunteers providing extra retirement allowance or pension with second career consulting. Peak salary system, for instance Japan, is rational for the employees want to maintain their current career. Instead of maintaining their job, salary would be reduced after they reached 55. If they are core talents, this system will benefit the important technologies and information for the company. Otherwise, they can be hired as a freelancer keeping their current position of the company, even though the employment will be periodically reoccurred in 1 or 2 years.
