A farmer, A fox
The story takes place in the farmer’s farm.
The fox robs his poultry yard and ruins his wheat field.
Problem (or Goal)
The farmer wants to catch the fox and revenge oneself on the fox.
As an option, students may provide details about the farmer’s emotion: the farmer breaks forth with anger, rage against the fox, he simmers with indignation, gnash his teeth, boil with rage.
Solution (or Attempt)
The farmer will use a painful method to revenge oneself on the fox.
Despite people’s dissuasion, the farmer ties his tail with straw and sets it on fire instead of easy death. The fox writhes in the agony of pain. The fox shriek with pain and rushes into the wheat field.
Outcome (or Resolution)
Because of the burning fox, the wheat field is destroyed by fire.
The farmer reaps nothing that year.
The farmer feels sad and regret for his foolish act.
Lesson (or Theme, or Moral)
The farmer learned a lesson: revenge can rebound on the avenger.
Forgiveness is better than revenge.
