본문내용

가. 단원의 개관
우리 주위의 자연 현상이나 사회 현상에서는 어떤 규칙이나 법칙이 존재하며, 이는 변화하는 양들 사이의 일정한 규칙 관계로 설명된다. 역사적으로 함수는 이러한 변화하는 현상에서 나타나는 ‘종속관계’를 설명하고 이를 기술하며 조직하기 위한 도구로써 도입되었다. 이 단원에서는 <7-가>, <8-가>단계에서의 규칙성과 함수에 대한 수의 선수 학습을 바탕으로 이차함수의 그래프와 그 성질에 관하여 학습하게 된다.

01.이차함수와 그 그래프
(1) 이차함수의 뜻을 알게 하고 그 함숫값을 구할 수 있게 한다.
(2) 이차함수 의 그래프의 성질을 이해하게 하고 그 그래프를 그릴 수 있도록 한다.
(3) 포물선의 뜻을 알게 하고, 포물선과 관련된 용어의 정의를 이해시키도록 한다.

02.이차함수의 성질
(1) 이차함수 의 그래프를 그리는 방법을 이해한다.
(2) 이차함수 의 최댓값 또는 최솟값을 구할 수 있게 한다.
(3) 주어진 조건을 만족하는 이차함수를 구할 수 있게 한다.
(4) 이차함수 의 그래프 개형을 보고 a, b, c의 부호를 알 수 있게 한다.

라. 단원의 지도상의 유의점
(1) 구체적인 이차함수의 예를 들어 이차함수를 직관적으로 이해한다.
(2) 이차함수 의 그래프가 모든 이차함수의 그래프의 기본임을 인식시키고, 이차 함수 의 그래프는 의 그래프를 x축, y축으로 평행 이동하여 얻어짐을 강조한다.
(3) 이차함수와 이차방정식과의 관계는 다루지 않는다.
(4) 이차함수 의 최댓값, 최솟값을 구할 때, x의 값은 수 전체로 하고,
제한된 정의역에서는 다루지 않는다.
