Abu Simbel (아부심벨)
It is a rock temple that Ramesses II built around the Nubia now in southern Egypt. The twin temples were carved out of the mountainside when the Pharaoh Ramesses II ruled in the 13th century BC. For celebrating the victory at the Kadesh battle and intimidating the Nubians, he made Abu Simbel.
The Great Pyramid of Giza(기자 피라미드)
It is the only one of the Seven Wonders of the World that remains now. It was constructed over 20 years around 2560 BC. This pyramid is the tomb of Pharaoh Khufu. It is why that the monument is called Khufu`s Pyramid or the Pyramid of Khufu
Mortuary Temple of Mentuhotep II (멘투호텝 사원)
Nebhepetre Mentuhotep built a combined mortuary temple and tomb complex in the Deir el-Bahri cliffs. In 1860s, it was discovered. There are two parts. The front is the place to laud the Montu-Ra. The rear is the pharaoh’s cult center.
Tutankhamun`s tomb (투탕카멘 무덤)
It is the tomb of Tutankhamun who died in his age of 18. Until 20th century, it couldn’t be found because of its blocked entrance by the tomb of Ramses VI. On November 4 1922, Howard Carter , the British Egyptologist discovered the tomb in the valley of the kings.
