From their publications, we have found that Diebold is focusing on acquisitions for globalization and also for gaining ground in the US government market. They have acquired two companies in 2005 and six companies in 2006, raising their use of cash from 28 to 62 M$.
By acquiring companies aggressively, Diebold is now gaining approximately 95% of its revenue by direct operation.
