본문내용

The second experiment is plant tissue culture, which was the aseptic condition attempt to clone new Tomato regeneration. When the plants grow it need nutrients, hormones, and plenty of water sources. The purpose of this experiment was to find out what are required for regenerating the tomato plant in a Petri dish. The agar Petri dish is the convenient alternative to nutrient agar Petri dish preparation. All the people are seeing is plants on the ground and absorb water to survive, so this experiment was performed to observe the chance for seed to survive as plant without soil and water, but inside the Petri dish the has medium which contain auxin and cytokinin to help them grow faster and provide hormone to help cells to reproduce faster. This experiment started with tomato seeds, in hopes of quickly growing enough seedlings to use as a tissue base for the later cloning procedure. When beginning the experiment our professor of Dr. Wu predicted that not even 1 percent of the class would see the fruits of tomatoes in the end because this lab was almost seemed impossible.
