★ Target students : High school 2nd year students (Upper-Intermediate)
★ Target L2 skills : Listening
★ Brief introduction : This lesson plan is designed for 50 minute class. Basically, the main characteristic of this lesson is to have a great amount of communication, interaction and cooperation that is considered very important in CLT. That is, in contrast to the traditional listening class, this listening class which has lots of pair work and discussion is designed not only for listening skill but also for the other skills and factors of communication.
Ⅰ . Goal
Students will increase their expertness of listening skill.
◆ Terminal Objectives
1. By the end of the lesson, students will be able to understand listening contents about the causes of stress and the ways of reducing stress.
2. By the end of the lesson, students will have familiarity with expressing their own ideas and opinions related to lowering stress.
◆ Enabling Objectives
1. Students will comprehend and produce necessary vocabulary for listening.
2. Students will comprehend what the listening content is about.
3. Students will answer what each speaker's causes of stress are and how they lower stress.
4. Students will discuss and converse about the topic either in pairs or in groups and complete the task.
