Because most of companies’ meaning of the existence is to make money, they have to pursue their own profit and interest as much as possible to survive and fulfill this objective. However, as they also have a social responsibility to pay back their profits to the society’s welfare, companies need to pursue these two at the same time to be the sound entrepreneurship.
When it comes to the definition of the entrepreneurship, it is not easy to find a one simple definition as it has been changed according to the country’s historical and economical situations which the company belongs to. And several schools of thought have been defined by their own standard, and 2 approaches are generally accepted; one is the functional approach which focuses on the role of entrepreneurship within the economy, and the other focuses on the personal characteristic of entrepreneurs.
However as these two methods are not perfectly helpful to describe entrepreneurship, we’re going to define it as an approach to management which pursuits of opportunity without regard to resources currently controlled. From now on, we’re going to look around 6 dimensions of business practice to refine entrepreneurial behavior.
It is the business dimension that drives the firm’s formulation of strategy and the promoter is mostly driven by perception of opportunity and the trustee is driven by resources currently controlled. However, as most companies make managers place its profit above all other concerns and try to maximize the utilization rate, these make firms rather administrative
