1. a. What would you have done in Mr. iwashita's position? Would you have quit the company, too? Explain why or why not.
To begin with the conclusion, Iwashita's behavior is hard to understand. Now I'm hard to be employed, and my ages, too.
I think Japan's situation almost same. A wise man would not do such a thing. However if I were a salied man, I would be sympathy to him. Overwork, overtiredness, limited relationship of colleagues and controlled private life by company etc.. But he got a good job. He was set on course to be a Japanese "Yuppie".
Overwork is a practiced hand in such things, and then he will become manager. Limited relationship is anywhere. In my situation, I'm in university, but I have limited relationship too. He complains that he can find the time undertake it.
On a company level, Japanese big and well-known companies take care of their employees and virtually gurantee a lifetime employment and security.
