본문내용
I. 우주의 기원 (Origin of the Universe)
" How did the Earth form ?" / " How did the Universe form ?"
Two conflicting ideas :
The Universe always existed and that time has no beginning.
The Universe began at a specific time and has been evolving or changing ever since.
Edwin Hubble (1929)
: "All gallaxies are moving away from each other"
→ means that galaxies must have started out at a common center.
Hubble's law : V = H·D (V : velocity of recession
D : distance from the observer
H : Hubble constant)
: 은하들의 팽창(후퇴)속도와 그들간의 거리 측정으로 은하의 이동 경로를 역추적
→ a single infenitely dense point (무한히 압축된 한 점, 특이점)를 생각.
